January 2024: Campaigning in Clapham and Chelsea

We started the year as we mean to go on, knocking on doors and speaking to residents. It was great to be out in Chelsea, speaking to residents about the upcoming GLA and Mayoral elections. The consensus on doorstep is clear, residents are sick of Sadiq Khan.

It was great to discuss policy in Lambeth with Virginia Crosbie, MP for Ynys Môn, and to hear from Siobhan Baillie on the Conservative plan for childcare, at the Onward panel discussion in Westminster.

We were delighted to partner with BASC for the CRF Members' reception and tuck into a delicious array of game canapés.

Back in Chelsea, it was great to be on the doorsteps with superstar campaigner Greg Hands MP, and wonderful to be joined by Richard Holden and Susan Hall in Clapham over the weekend, to support Christine Wallace's GLA campaign.

It was a pleasure to scribe again for the CFCC, this time to hear the insights of the superb Baroness Chalker on Africa 2024. The report for the meeting can be found here.

As always, it was a pleasure to catch up with friends at Conservatives in Comms, before heading back out in Chelsea and Vauxhall to speak to residents about the upcoming GLA and Mayoral elections.

I particularly enjoyed my visit to Bonnington Square, an incredible example of high density housing done well.
