March started off in my home patch of Kensington, Chelsea & Fulham, delivering crime surveys in my role as Deputy Chair Political for Brompton Hans Town, followed by a trip to Staffordshire with a local MP to meet local schools, water companies and Forestry England.
For the weekend Martin and I went to help local councillors deliver at Ward Royal in Eton & Castle, ahead of the local elections.
The following week I was thrilled to take part in the International Women's Day Speed Networking with Year 9 and 10 pupils at Acland Burghley School in Tufnell Park, Camden. In the evening I was delighted to attend the selection of our Chelsea & Fulham MP and Party Chair Greg Hands.
Over the weekend Martin and I enjoyed a visit to the Reigate Sustainability Market, before heading over to help local Councillor candidate Kate Fairhurst in Reigate, for the CWO South East Action Day.
The following week, I was thrilled to be elected as the Chairman of the Conservative Women's Organisation Kensington Chelsea & Fulham and despite the tube strikes, scootered my way across the city to attend my penultimate Political History class at Oxford.
Later in the week, it was wonderful to meet Minister for Children Claire Coutinho who had an enlightening answer to my question on housing and mobilising the millennial vote.
As Vice Chair of the Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham Association I dedicated my weekend to canvassing across the borough. Saturday morning started with a CWO KCF x KCF Action Day in Kensington for Felicity Buchan MP, in the afternoon it was over to Fulham to lend my support to the Fulham part of the KCF family, knocking on doors and listening to residents.
On Monday evening, in my role as DCP for the Brompton Hans Town ward, our fab councillors and I braved the rain to speak with local residents.
It was truly a treat to hear Robert Jenrick speak at the Women 2 Win policy session and I was thrilled to welcome Greg Hands MP and Party Chair to the CWO KCF Speaking Club as our guest speaker. We were grateful for another stellar turnout. Greg's tips on local campaigning were invaluable and it was incredible to hear his story of 37 years in the party.
A couple of days later it was great to be in Birmingham again, this time for the Spring Forum, a superb chance to top up on training and catch up with members, activists and fellow candidates. It was wonderful to meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and have a chance to discuss local and national issues and potholes!
On my return I was back campaigning in RBKC, for a joint Action Day with the Kensington and Westminster Conservatives and were thrilled to be joined by Vice Party Chair Nickie Aiken, National Convention President Peter Booth and Kensington MP Felicity Buchan. It was great to be out delivering in Westminster North, a ward which will soon be joining us in Kensington.
I rounded off the month with friends at the Annual Reception for the Conservative Friends of Israel, with warm words from Sajid Javid, Kemi Badenoch, Lord Pickles and Israeli Ambassador Tzipi Hotovely.
