May was a brief but superb month, made so, by a nation brought together in celebration of the King's Coronation.

My month started telephone canvassing for local councillors in West Berskshire, for the May 4th local elections.
In celebration of the King's coronation, I was delighted to spend the Bank Holiday attending street parties in Kensington and Chelsea. As a Vice Chair for the Association, resident and Deputy Chair of one of the wards, I want to say thank you to all of our residents' associations and wards for their hard work in an incredible weekend of tributes and celebrations.
It was a pleasure to return as an Alumnus to UCL, to meet with the Provost Dr Michael Spence and fantastic to hear about (and see) the extensive work undertaken to modernise the university. It was equally thrilling to be back at the Classics department again.
The following week, it was a delight to be in Washington D.C to attend the graduation of my brother and my first visit to The White House and Capitol Building. D.C is a stunning city and I was inspired by the use of solar panels above bus stops and outdoor heaters; an innovative way of utilising green energy.
Back to London and back to work. First stop, Sloane Square tube station, campaigning with Party Chairman and Chelsea & Fulham MP Greg Hands. It was great to talk to commuters and even more lovely to hear a mother and her daughter remark on how Greg was their MP who had "saved the buses".
During the week I attended the Conservative Home Savings, Pensions & Investments Conference with Pensions Minister Laura Trott, Sevenoaks MP and to later attend a zoom talk with Andrew Bowie, West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine MP and Minister for Nuclear and Networks.
I rounded off the month campaigning for local champion Don Williams, in the South Hampstead Local By-Election. Don, a former Councillor, sadly missed out this time, but we hope he will be back representing beautiful Hampstead very soon.
